Design by Mario Trimarchi, 2011.
Building on the theme of "La Stanza dello Scirocco", designed by Mario Trimarchi, Alessi introduces "Fiato sul collo", a necklace in mirror-polished stainless steel.
"Fiato sul collo" (breathing down your neck) speaks to the pride of the condemned — to the constant bullfight against time. It is the translation of an ordinary moment of agitation in an ordinary day. An unexpected gem, like featherweight thoughts. Asymmetrical like a morning rain. Disordered, like the dreams of freedom." — Mario Trimarchi
Alessi's MT11 Fiato Sul Collo Necklace arrives in gift packaging.
Material(s): stainless steel
Dimensions: 7.5" X 7"

The Fiato Sul Cullo necklace is so strking in design and unique in form that it garners constant curiousity and compliments. It is a beautiful piece, and is beautifully presented in the Alessi gift box. To say that this gift was a hit with my wife would be a huge understatement.
Sensational design that brings an elegant spark to the neckline.

unforgettable design that will stand out in any crowd. There is no clasp but the back end bends to fit the neck of different shapes.

I purchased this necklace for my wife as sort of a stocking stuffer. She was blown away by its sheer beauty and simplicity. She wore it for New Years Eve and received many compliments from men and women alike. Fiato Sul Collo was a hit. Thank you for making me look good and carrying works of art such as this necklace and furniture pieces.

Alessi is a family owned Italian design company, founded in 1921. Giovanni Alessi, a talented sheet metal worker, produced items by hand for the table and home out of copper, brass and nickel-silver. He was later joined by his son Carlo who was responsible for many of the designs produced in the 1930s and early 1940s. In the mid 1940s Alessi began to work with outside designers. The current Alessi catalog is the result of a collaboration with over 500 designers from all over the world.
"A true work of design must be able to move people, to convey feelings, to trigger memories, to surprise, to go against the grain. From this point of view, design intended to conjure up images in people's minds, which makes them a bit happier, still has tremendous potential." — Alberto AlessiView other products from Alessi
