"Il Tempo della Festa (Holiday time) is when the long awaited morning has finally arrived and mothers prepare a special meal with the know-how reserved for special occasions. It is then that these miniature works of architecture, these little packages of delight, are brought to the table for our naive amazement." — Mario Trimarchi.
Inspired by the world of architecture, Alessi's Il Tempo della Festa Molds revisit the idea of geometric food and creative expressions in the kitchen. Made of colored silicone, these petite timbale molds are sold in sets of 6. Available in White, Mango, Kiwi, Peach or Black.

Designer: Mario Trimarchi
Mario Trimarchi was born in Sicily and has lived and worked in Milan since 1983. An architect of the "freehand" generation, he has always moved freely within the visual universe and considers drawing, photography, design and image as equal components with the same theoretical approach.
Between 1994 and 1998 Trimarchi was Director of Advanced Design at the Domus Academy and from 1989 to 2000 was part of the Olivetti Design Studio, where he worked with Michele De Lucchi. In 1999 he founded his own Corporate Identity Care studio, FRAGILE. With FRAGILE he designs systems of identity, coordinated image and visual alphabets through which diverse individualities can be expressed.
Trimarchi has designed many trademarks, most notably for Poste Italiane, the graphics for numerous large exhibitions, communications systems for Italian design companies and many displays and interiors.

Alessi is a family owned Italian design company, founded in 1921. Giovanni Alessi, a talented sheet metal worker, produced items by hand for the table and home out of copper, brass and nickel-silver. He was later joined by his son Carlo who was responsible for many of the designs produced in the 1930s and early 1940s. In the mid 1940s Alessi began to work with outside designers. The current Alessi catalog is the result of a collaboration with over 500 designers from all over the world.
