The Piccantino Chili Crusher is a reminder of the famous red chili-shaped good luck charm from Naples. It's design unites two very different senses: the tender softness of transparent rubber and the hard elegance of polished steel. Piccantino chops, spreads and stores chili. It was conceived to solve the problem this irritating spice presents of coming into direct contact with the skin. It makes a perfect gift for connoisseurs of spicy food, and like chili itself it goes just about anywhere.

Clever tool for pepper lovers

This works great. Pull off the silver cap. Then pull off the inner red cap and stuff a dried pepper inside. Replace the caps and crunch up the pepper inside the flexible chili crusher "skin". The inner cap does well at trapping pepper stems and just letting the newly made pepper flakes out when shaking. Completely useful. Just remember to rinse after using or you'll end up with pepper under your nails the next time you pop off the inner cap.
