After the "Lupita" dog bowl (2002) comes the inevitable cat bowl. Indeed, "Tigrito" was adamantly requested by the lovers of the other half of the pet world. The same designer and the same delicately playful approach. Part of the proceeds from the sale of the Tigrito bowl will be given to "GAIA Animali e Ambiente", an organization dedicated to the protection of animals.

Designer: Miriam Mirri

Miriam Mirri was born in Bologna in 1964. She lives and works in Milan. She graduated at the Superior School for Anotomic Design and studied communication and design at the Universita del Progetto in Reggio Emilia. Mirri worked in London with Nigel Coates and has been assistant to Stefano Giovannoni for many years. She designs objects for companies such as Mandarina Duck, Mitsubishi and United Pets. She also holds design courses at the Universita del Progetto in Reggio Emilia.

Alessi is a family owned Italian design company, founded in 1921. Giovanni Alessi, a talented sheet metal worker, produced items by hand for the table and home out of copper, brass and nickel-silver. He was later joined by his son Carlo who was responsible for many of the designs produced in the 1930s and early 1940s. In the mid 1940s Alessi began to work with outside designers. The current Alessi catalog is the result of a collaboration with over 500 designers from all over the world.
