Alias

Manufacturer: Alias

Alias. Technological Lightness. Versatility. Innovation.

Alias products feature highly expressive minimal style. Their story began in 1979 with Giandomenico Belotti's "Spaghetti Chair", one of Alias's first creations to become part of the MoMA collection in New York City. All Alias products are manufactured in Italy at plants located within 30 miles of their facilities at Grumello del Monte and Motta di Livenza. Alias consistently seeks to minimize environmental impact through policies involving every phase of its operations.

Design is a true vocation for Alias, even in the choice of its designers — well-known international names from different generations and with different training, such as: Giandomenico Belotti, Mario Botta, Carlo Forcolini, Alberto Meda, Paolo Rizzatto, Riccardo Blumer, Jasper Morrison, Alfredo Häberli, Tamar Ben David, Philippe Starck and Eugeni Quitllet. Over the years, Alias has established a special working relationship with each of these names, and the Alias inclination towards experimentation has fostered in every project the development of each designer's own particular qualities.
