The long-handle saucepan can be considered a variation of the casserole with two handles, more suitable for professional use, especially in the larger sizes. It can be used for braising and stewing (especially small cuts of food) and is to be preferred to the sauteuse for the preparation of sauces which do not require mixing (not requiring the use of a whisk) or that are cooked with the lid on (as with tomato and meat sauces). The smallest pan (10 cm) can also be used as a sauce or gravy warmer.

The perfect size, weight and material!
The La Cintura line is the best for pots and pans and the assortment of sizes and forms. The saucepan is the perfect size, weight and surface, especially for cream sauces.
Herman Miller's 3D Intelligent back material is a seating technology designed for the SAYL™ Chair. The 3-dimensional mesh-like suspension material is stretched from the Y-Tower at the back of the chair just as cables are stretched from the towers of a suspension bridge. The tension is greater in the transition areas, from the thoracic to the lumbar regions and between the lumbar area and sacrum. "Hinge points" allow these areas to flex and support the healthy, forward rotation of the pelvis. At the same time, less tension in other parts of the back encourages a full range of seated movement.
