Design by Arne Jacobsen, 1956

The City Hall Watch was created as a counterpart to Rosendahl's wall clock of the same name, on a smaller scale. One of a trio of watches based on Arne Jacobsen's original clock designs, this elegantly understated watch features a unique construction. The dial and curved crystal of this collection are married in a single unit while the movement is located on the back of the watch, serving as an anchor for the leather band. The mechanical components of the City Hall watch are housed in a low-profile solid stainless-steel case.

An architect of Danish origin, Jacobsen (1902-1971) originally created this classic clock design for Rødovre City Hall.
