Design by Dieter Rams and Dietrich Lubs for Braun.
Recently re-issued in 2011, the Braun Ladies' Analog Watch BN-31 is a classic timepiece with a 1.3" (32 mm) round face in white with a stainless steel mesh band. The BN-31 features three hands and is water resistant to 150 feet.
After a hiatus of many years, Braun watches are finally back in production. Dietrich Lubs, co-designer with Dieter Rams, credits their independent and functionally-oriented design for the continued relevance of Braun timepieces, some thirty years after their initial introduction.

Product looks exactly as advertised and appears sturdy.

Watch appears to have good construction and seems like it will last the test of time. Taking the watch on and off can be difficult at times, but I assume it just takes a little more time to get used to. Overall, pretty satisfied with the watch.
Beautiful, streamlined, clean design aesthetic. Love the yellow second hand, and the numbers on face.

I so wanted this watch. Love that it still has all the numbers on the clock face, call me a traditionalist! However the band is so so long, that even when I adjusted it to the minimum size, it was too large for my wrist. The band is made of metal mesh, so there's no way to shorten it by other means. I am 5'0 tall and petite, so maybe I'm outside the target market, but it is marketed as a women's watch!
Sleek attractive design

I purchased this watch as a christmas gift and it was very well received. The watch has a really nice modern and clean design which gets many compliments. The strap was a little difficult to adjust at first.
Simple and sweet

I love the simplicity of this watch. The face is just the right size...it was what I was looking for. Very easy to read the time without any excess distractions. One thing that may become a problem is if you have a small wrist, I would possibly consider another watch. I have a small wrist and I have the watch on at its smallest possible band length, which is fine for me but may be uncomfortable for others.
Designer: Dieter Rams
As head of design at Braun, the German consumer electronics manufacturer, Dieter Rams (born 1932) emerged as one of the most influential industrial designers of the late 20th century by defining an elegant, legible, yet rigorous visual language for its products. Each of the hundreds of products he developed during forty years with Braun, was unerringly elegant and supremely versatile.
Rams' objective was to design useful products which would be easy to operate. His designs always looked effortless with an exquisite simplicity born from rigorous tests and experiments with new materials and an obsessive attention to detail to ensure that each piece appeared flawlessly coherent. Dieter Rams remains an enduring inspiration for younger designers, notably Jonathan Ive and Jasper Morrison, who have acknowledged his influence in their work at Apple and Rowenta respectively.View other products by Dieter Rams

Braun Corporation celebrated 90 years in 2011, and the design world celebrated the return of Braun timepieces. Braun's clocks, watches and calculators of the 1980s were known for their clarity, reduction and innovative technology. Produced under a renewed license, these watches and clocks are in some cases very close to the originals, in others they are updated to meet today's technology.View other products from Braun
