The weatherproof Tension Bench with Back features a unique combination of HPL composite material and solid teak. The slightly outward-splayed legs of this long bench are connected with a solid teak cross beam for stability. Utilizing "wedge" construction to firmly anchor the beam and bench legs creates an interesting contrast of materials — the very flat HPL material and the solid teak wood unite to show the "warm" side of practical.

HPL (High Pressure Laminate) is scratch-resistant, light-resistant, waterproof and weather-resistant. Available in Charcoal Grey with Teak cross beam. Cushions sold separately.

Conmoto's weatherproof Tension Bench with Back, designed by Maly Hoffman Kahleyss, is made of Charcoal Grey HPL (high pressure laminate) composite material with a solid teak cross beam. Cushions sold separately.

Interior architect and designer Peter Maly, recipient of many prizes, established his own design office back in 1979. He designs international furniture collections, and his creations for Ligne Roset are generally acknowledged to be modern classics. His links with designers Birgit Hoffmann and Christoph Kahleyss are of long standing: together they have realized numerous interior design projects.
