Danese Milano Poster Uno La Mela 1963 Red Apple is for who those take the old adage "an apple a day" seriously. Italian designer Enzo Mari created this bold design as part of a nature series that includes L'Oca White Goose, La Pera Green Pear and La Pantera Black Panther. This mid-century print proves that simple lines can create an image that has a substantial presence in a room. Hang La Mela up in kitchens, kids' rooms or living rooms. You'll find that apples illuminate the ambiance. The poster comes with two horizontal PVC strips for hanging the print.

Designer: Enzo Mari
Enzo Mari started his activity with studies on visual perception and then focused his attention on games for children, graphics, design and architecture: different directions sharing a common idea that is the reflection on the meaning of shape and project. He was consultant for Arredo Urbano of the Milan town hall and president of the Association for Industrial Design (1976-1979). He was awarded the Compasso d'Oro in 1967, 1979, 1987 and in 2001 for his table "Tavolo legato". In 2001 he published the book "Progetto e passione" (Project and passion) which analyses the design on a wider cultural horizon. He collaborates with design companies such as Artemide, Castelli, Danese, Driade, Gabbianelli, Interflex, Lema, Magis, Zanotta.

Danese was founded in 1957 by Bruno Danese and Jacqueline Vodoz showing one-of-a-kind artistic production. A landmark meeting with Bruno Munari and Enzo Mari marked a step forward from the production of unique objects to serial production. Thus was born a new collection of home objects no longer addressed to a specific elite market. Danese became a real experimental laboratory for the concept and production of serial objects through the 1960s and 1970s.
