Designer: Claudio D'Amore

Born in Switzerland to Italian parents, Claudio D'Amore grew up in a multicultural household. From an early age, D'Amore spent his time designing objects. In fact, his first creative pieces were produced at the age of 13. Unlike other teenagers running around town, D'Amore whiled away his time in his father's workshop creating objects from recycled materials.

In 2000, he graduated in product design from the University of Art and Design (ECAL). He then set off for London to work with the renowned designer Ross Lovegrove. In 2004, he returned to Switzerland and established Cosanova, a design studio specializing in luxury timepieces and objects.

Tag Heuer, Montblanc, Van Cleef & Arpels, Parmigiani, Hautlence and Concord are just a few of his clients. Though older and more experienced, D'Amore hasn't lost that spark of wonder and excitement when designing objects. It's easy to see that flash of boyhood enthusiasm in his creative designs.
