Filigrantrae, which means "filigree tree" in Danish, is a modern, pared-down "real" tree made of solid untreated and unfinished Birch. Each tree arrives in a slim cotton bag and can be assembled very easily without hardware or tools. (The instructions are so simple they're optional!) Take-down is just as easy and, best of all, it's extremely compact. A sustainable modern Christmas "tree" that can be used year after year.

I purchased this tree as an alternative to the chemical laden Christmas trees. It arrived and I immediately saw that it would look great on my dresser holding my many beaded necklaces. Looks great with modern decor, but also would be fine in any decor - and same holds true for the Christmas tree. My grandfather made me a Danish tree just like this years ago and it finally broke. This one won't, however, because the "limbs" easily remove for packing and storing. Love it!
