Porcelain has many exquisite characteristics. It is white and beautiful by day and radiates a warm and golden glow when illuminated. The Porcelight Table Lamp emits excellent direct lighting from the halogen lamp, yet is glare-free. As such, it can be used in innumerable applications.
The Porcelight Table Lamp has a brushed stainless steel stem with a lacquered black steel base and a black fabric-covered cord.
The Porcelight Table Lamp, designed by Erik Magnussen in 1982, is crafted from fine white porcelain which radiates a warm and golden glow when illuminated. The lamp features a brushed stainless steel stem with a lacquered black steel base and black fabric-covered cord.

Erik Magnussen was born in 1940 in Copenhagen. He trained as a ceramic artist at the Copenhagen School of Design, graduating with a silver medal in 1960. Magnussen has taught at the Academy of Fine Arts and was named designer of the year by the Danish Design Council in 1983.

Porcelight uses the translucence and warmth of porcelain to create this fine lighting line by ceramicist Erik Magnussen, a silver medal graduate of the Copenhagen School of Design in 1960.
