Designer: Michael Sodeau
Michael Sodeau was born in London in 1969. He studied product design at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design where he graduated in 1994. He was a founding partner of Inflate, and set up his own design studio Michael Sodeau Partnership in 1997. In addition to designing for MSP, his own production company, Michael has designed for many international manufacturers. He has exhibited internationally with solo shows in London, New York, Stockholm and Tokyo, with a retrospective show in Paris.
Michael Sodeau's designs have been selected for the permanent collection of the V&A Museum and a book about his work entitled 'Once upon a line' edited by Alexander Payne was published in 2000. Most recently he developed a collection of stationery products for ANYTHING, a brand developed by Sodeau for Suikosha. The stationery collection launched in London in September 2008 and went on to win the BLUEPRINT AWARD for best new design company, swiftly followed by a RED DOT AWARD for 'Best of the Best' in the product design category.View other products by Michael Sodeau
