Containers you could fit in your pocket (well…nearly fit). In homage to Daniel Ballou's hometown shipyards in Long Beach, California, the designer created 'Cargo Container', scaled down from 8 feet to 8 inches. Ballou's containers are offered in sets of two — either Blue/White or Gray/Orange.

Daniel Ballou is a Southern California native who grew up skateboarding, playing music, and hanging out in parking lots. Equipped with a degree in Industrial Design and after working for several leading firms in LA and Boston, he founded dashdot, a design consulting studio in 2007. Since then, he and his team have been operating in a wide range of industries including consumer products, housewares, and apparel. He has won a handful of awards for his work including an IDEA Award and several Good Design Awards.
