From Sarpsborg, Norway, Magnus Petterson has taken the design world by storm with his interesting choices of materials. It's hard to imagine how he got the idea to use cement to make tape dispenser. Pettersen moved to the United Kingdom to study Product & Furniture Design at Kingston University and then went on to earn an MA in Industrial Design at Central Saint Martins. After years of working as a product designer for various London-based studios, Pettersen decided to go out on his own. The Magnus Pettersen Studio is a boutique studio dedicated to designing furniture and home accessories that differ from the ordinary. You won't see the same boring stools or desk sets in Pettersen's studio.
