Designer Brendan Ravenhill finds inspiration in the functional beauty of working tools: objects that strike the perfect balance between form and function and that develop a patina through use and wear. With Wall Clamp, his inspiration is made literal. Two cast iron and Beech wood clamps serve as shelf braces. All mounting hardware is included. The shelf is not included and is meant to be customized by each user to suit their preference and need.

Designer: Brendan Ravenhill

Brendan Ravenhill was born in the Ivory Coast in 1979. It was through helping his father with carpentry that he fell in love with the art of making things. After graduating from Oberlin College with a degree in sculpture in 2001, Brendan continued to develop his craft through a series of projects which include the construction of a timber frame barn and eight boats. After spending a year as an apprentice welder, he attended the Rhode Island School of Design, graduating in 2009 with a Masters in Industrial Design. Brendan finds his inspiration in the functional beauty of working tools: objects that strike the perfect balance between form and function, and that develop a patina through use and wear.
