The Band Stripe Rug has graphic stripes executed with a craftsman's caress, softening them into sumptuousness. Bold, yes, but the Band Stripe Rug is also beckoningly beautiful. They are all hand woven from the finest quality 100% wool yarn. The stripe is a timeless design and therefore the color palette is too. When it comes to any interior, you'll find the textural delicacy of the Band Stripe Rug's flat weave coupled with their contemporary visual impact allows them to fit in just as much as they stand out. Available in a Black/White stripe.

Armadillo & Co. is a collaborative effort from designers Jodie Fried and Sally Pottharst. They first met collaborating on a rug project for Jodie's business, Bholu. That's when they discovered what they really had in common was their search for the uncommon. Where were the honest and earthy rugs they wanted for their own homes?

No other product matched their passion. For Armadillo's designers, it was all about combining aesthetics with ethics. So what they couldn't find, they decided to make. Together, they have over 25 years' experience in their heartfelt fields of design and textiles. More specifically, they've both worked with rugs. Their Armadillo & Co. rug collection are meticulously made by hand and are produced to the highest ethical standards.

Every piece from Armadillo embraces Fair Trade practices and is crafted from sustainable natural fibers including pure wool, jute, cotton and hemp. All purchases benefit local schools in their weavers villages.
