Named after the palace of King Louis XIV, Grand Trianon is a large, lightweight chandelier made of post-consumer coated Tyvek®. When illuminated, the Grand Trianon emits a soft checkerboard glow from behind its surface of folded slits. The impressive size and surface texture are a modern reference to the opulent décor found in France's Palace of Versailles.

An optional electrical cord & socket set can be included for use with a 60-watt lamp. This optional upgrade is offered with a Textile or Rubber Cord and is for plug in only.

We purchased two Grand Trianon lamps and love them-- so many friends ask how they can get one!!!! Highly recommend.
Designer: Paula Arntzen
Dutch Artist Paula Arntzen, born in 1980, is currently working in Arnhem where she has her own design studio. Arntzen studied traditional furniture making at HMC in Amsterdam before she studied Product Design at ArtEZ Academy of the Arts in Arnhem. Paula's designs represent a combination of lightness, color and monumental shaping. Her designs find their origin in a fascination for grand forms and qualities of material.
