Design by Paula Arntzen, 2010.
Named after the palace of King Louis XIV, Grand Trianon is a large, lightweight chandelier made of post-consumer coated Tyvek®. When illuminated, the Grand Trianon emits a soft checkerboard glow from behind its surface of folded slits. The impressive size and surface texture are a modern reference to the opulent décor found in France's Palace of Versailles.
"Everything about the art and architecture of the Versailles is made with the greatest intensity. That inspired me to start this collection of lamps." — Paula Arntzen
