The actual product was just as shown in the pictures. It seems pretty sturdy for paper. it was beautifully packaged so as not to harm the delicate product in transit. We have it hanging on one side of a large sliding door in our master bedroom. My husband is enchanted.

I recently purchased (3) of the Until Dawn Curtains for the backdrop of my outdoor wedding. It came perfectly packaged and easy to hang. The light that shines through the intricate pattern is stunning.
I haven't yet mounted it and I am waiting for a contractor to figure out how to hang it.

It looks great in the box however it is somewhat more flimsy than I had anticipated and I will have to hang it high enough to prevent my rabbits from chewing on it. Can't control the parrots though. Hope this helps Helen McNeil
Almost everyone who comes into my house asks me where I got it.

I have other Tord Boontje stuff - a metal garland and pendant light that throws animal shadows like a kaleidoscope but almost everyone who comes into my house asks me where I got the curtain. My house was on a historic homes tour last weekend and women of every race and age asked me about the curtain. It's great because it's majestic in a funny way - looks like lace but it's animals and flowers.
Beautiful work of art

Until Dawn is a beautiful ornate work of art. The piece adds a lot of texture to a room. The curtain came meticulously packaged and arrived very quickly.
Modern, artistic, whimsical curtain!

I purchased two of these curtains - they're very modern, easy to cut to fit the space you have, and are unlike any I've seen before! The pattern is very intricate though the material is delicate and feel like it could tear if it snags on something. Hopefully, they'll last awhile!

I received the "Until Dawn" as a gift a couple of years ago and loved it. I'm a designer and recently was hired to do a loft model home and used this as a drop panel to divide a space in the model. It looks great and has gotten a lot of interest and compliments from potential buyers.
beautiful, light, airy

Love this as a privacy shade on my office window. I can still see out and get light in. It provides some privacy. Looks awesome at night, from the outside of the house! This is my second shade. Very well designed and made.
I love it.

Everybody that sees it is thrilled, even people who generally don't like modern furniture. I'll have 5 sections in all, 1 in my apartment in Switzerland and 4 here in the Midwest. Makes me forget that I live in the city!
Designer: Studio Tord Boontje
Tord Boontje does not believe that modernism means minimalism. In fact, this designer from the Netherlands is not afraid to celebrate the materials he uses in designs. Sometimes this means creating layers and layers of materials. Boontje is also inspired by nature and emotion. For Boontje, nature seems to evoke feelings of wonder. Boontje's Globe Pendant illustrates this idea of thinking about nature as a wild specimen. Something that even glass cannot control. His designs are meant to stimulate the observer's imagination. It's quite hard to not create a narrative or backstory to some of his pieces.
Boontje does not believe that contemporary designs should abandon tradition. Though Boontje, employs some of the latest technology when fabricating his designs, the materials he uses or designs hold some traditional context. Perhaps, this interest in tradition comes from his background. Born in Enchede, Netherlands in 1968, Boontje studied industrial design at the Design Academy in Eindohoven and went on to earn a Masters from the Royal College of Art in London. Currently, Boonje has set up Studio Tord Boontje in Bourg-Argental, France and teaches at the Royal College of Art. When looking at some of his products, one can almost imagine him wondering through the backwoods of France–making discoveries and feeding his imagination. Boontje was nominated for the Designer Of The Year Award at the Design Museum 2003. Tord was nominated Designer of the Year by Elle Decoration UK and his renowned Garland Light (for Artecnica) won the awards for best light and readers choice for Future Classic.View other products by Studio Tord Boontje
