Looks playful...not totally functional.

You should have a really good context for this bench to make sense. Otherwise, it looks like you picked it up from a kindergarten garage sale. Slat top is also a little annoying if you're like me and put your keys aside you while you tie your shoes. They will fall through the bench to the ground.

Clean lines, practical and good quality bench

I was looking for something that would look good with the furniture I already have. I looked for clean lines and light wood. I love the designs with bend wood and plywood. this bench is designed very well, feels and looks sturdy. I love it!
Designer: Alvar Aalto
(1898-1976) Born in Kuortane, Finland. Thanks to his original style and unique talents, Alvar Aalto is one of the greatest names in modern architecture and design. During his career, he designed many buildings in different parts of the world: concert halls, libraries, hospitals, museums, and private homes, including the Villa Mairea.
