Alvar Aalto's long-legged K65 High Chair is the optimum height for cozying up to tall high-top tables and bar counters. The K65 High Chair frame has a solid birch core with birch laminates while the low molded birch plywood seat back offers just the right amount of back support. This beautiful natural birch stool with a built-in backrest has been providing high-quality design with function since the 1930's. Available for Quick Ship in eight finishes.

Designer: Alvar Aalto

(1898-1976) Born in Kuortane, Finland. Thanks to his original style and unique talents, Alvar Aalto is one of the greatest names in modern architecture and design. During his career, he designed many buildings in different parts of the world: concert halls, libraries, hospitals, museums, and private homes, including the Villa Mairea. His furniture and lamps, often starting out as a part of the buildings he designed, are produced together with Finnish Artek.
