Alvar Aalto's first 4-legged stool for Artek was a bar stool such as this model 64. In the earliest models, the footrest forming the base ring and footrest was made of metal. Today, the entire piece is formed of naturally lacquered bent birch wood for a timeless, versatile, durable element. Part of the new Carry Away range consisting of a selection of Alvar Aalto and Artek Studio products, conveniently packed in flat packed boxes and ready for simple assembly. Offered in four finishes.
