Overview

Design by Ilmari Tapiovaara, 1953.
By Artek.

The conception of the Tale Stool came about from the Finnish tradition of storytelling by the fire, hence the name "Tale". The smooth lines and triangular shape of the Tale Stool are both basic and classical and yet still contemporary for today's modern scene. Ilmari Tapiovaara's designs are noted for their ageless quality and the Tale Stool has proven the test of time.

Constructed with a pressed, veneered Birch plywood seat and a solid Birch frame, the Tale Stool ships fully assembled and is available in two finishes: seat and frame stained Black or stained Black frame, Walnut Veneer seat.

Notes:
