Overview
Design by Ron Rezek.
Made in the U.S.A. for Rezek by Artemide.
The Ambit is a contemporary ceiling mounted reinterpretation of a 50's sensibility. The double layers of handblown glass give modulated but very useful direct and diffused incandescent or fluorescent lighting. Inner and outer diffusers are made of etched white handblown glass. The canopy and diffuser support rods are matte nickel plated steel or matte white powder coated steel. For the fluorescent version, the ballast is housed in the ceiling canopy. Mounting to standard electrical junction boxes.
