The Logico Suspension Triple Nested was designed by Michele De Lucchi and Gerard Reichert.

Logico is originated from the idea of organizing a system starting from the light diffusion: the sophisticated blown glass diffuser is used in different versions and its modular shape lends itself to the creation of numerous light compositions. The lower edge of the diffuser is cut with a diamond-edged blade. The design, complex and modular, allows creating numerous compositions of lights and forms.

The Logico Series represents a departure from traditional glassblowing with its complex form. Hand-blown glass with satin finish. The Logico Triple Nested Suspension Light is available in three sizes, all of which feature a diffuser supporting frame in die-cast aluminum with pale grey matte lacquer finish and frame supporting cables in stainless steel. Grey thermoplastic cover; mounts to standard electrical junction box. Available in incandescent or fluorescent lamp configurations (not included).

Michele de Lucchi

Born in 1951 in Ferrara, Italy, Michele De Lucchi studied in Padua and Florence, graduating with his architectural degree in 1975. A prominent symbol in experimental architecture, Michele De Lucchi was well known in the Cavart, Alchymia and Memphis movements. Not only has he designed lighting fixtures and furniture for the most prominent producers in Europe, he has developed many theories of the evolution of the workplace, and accomplished "experimental products" for Compaq Computers, Philips, Siemens and Vitra.

In 1973 Michele De Lucchi partnered with other designers and architects to create Cavert, which was considered a radical design group during that time. Kartell discovered his artistry in 1978 and hired him in Milan to design for Centrokappa. He later met up with Ettore Sottsass and joined the Studio Alchimia designers. Between his many creations he became a design consultant for Olivetti in 1979. In 1990 Michele De Lucchi founded a small lighting company, Produzione Privata, to produce lighting that could disregard the requirements of mass production and be made by craftsmen using traditional techniques.

I need light bulbs. Your number Logico max 3 x 150W Type G30 or G40 E26

Thanks for your interest in this design. We ourselves refer to these sites all the time to compare bulb options. You will be able to locate the bulbs listed under the specifications tab either online or even in a local home department store if that is easier. To discuss this fixture in greater depth, or to follow up with anything else, feel free to give us a call anytime at 866.842.6209 and we are more than happy to go over some options with you. What is the length at the longest axis. Do you have it in stock

Asked by: Bracha
Hello there, the measurements for the pendant portion of this fixture are as follows: 26" W x 26" L x 12.25" H. The pendant is a rough circle shape. Because these are not currently available in the manufacturer's New York warehouse, they must be special ordered from production headquarters in Italy. This can fall in the 8-10 week range. Please let us know if we can offer any additional clarification beyond this - we are happy to help! Parin YLighting Customer Service

What is the minimum amount of space required to hang the MINI light?

Asked by: goshgolly
Hey there! With all suspension fixtures, it depends on where you are hanging it and if it is a feature piece or not. You may want to hang it lower with only 5 feet to 7 feet of clearance if you are hanging it above a dining table or coffee table in lounge area than if it is being used in an entry way were you will need to ensure it has at least 8 feet of clearance to keep plenty of clearance for foot traffic. While it is ultimately based on the dimensions of your space and your design vision; the recommended minimum is 7 feet to 8 feet of clearance in a regular foot traffic area. In a not foot traffic area it is recommended that it is hung so it does not obstruct the line of sight from a seated position. Purchased the mini Logico triple nested lamp for dining table -love it. It's suspended from a low ceiling - 7'3". The 3 warm light dimmable Sylvania LED bulbs equal to 40 watts ea. are too bright even at lowest. What do you recommend? thank you

Asked by: bhunah
Hi there! Great question. Three 40 watt bulbs can be very bright when used together. One thing to keep in mind is that you can use a lower incandescent wattage (or, in this case compatible bulb). The 40 watt incandescent is only the maximum or suggested wattage for this fixture. If you are finding it far too bright for your application, you may want to consider trying three dimmable 25 watt equivalent LEDs in a warm color temperature to achieve the range of lighting you prefer for your dining area. Thanks for reaching out! We hope, once you have your bulb combination in place, you can fully enjoy your fixture. We hope you are able to leave a rave review of your product too.
