The Apps Chair was inspired by the new technological era, taking on the shape of the iconic smartphone. A cube with rounded corners impersonates smooth, timeless and comfortable lines. It is simple and contemporary due to the flowing forms and basic shape. The first design by Richard Hutten for Artifort.
The Apps Chair has a wooden internal frame, webbing in the back and an ingenious seat that boosts the natural comfort of the thick layer of foam. Select from an extensive palette of hundreds of fabric and leather options to complement your modern living space.

That same year he started his own design studio, working on a variety of projects such as: furniture, products, interior and exhibition design. Richard Hutten is most well known for his 'No sign of design' style. He is one of the most internationally successful Dutch designers.
