The Isobel Sofas have two faces. With oval blocks inserted into its armrests, Isobel is private and enclosed. A sofa that embraces you. Without the blocks, Isobel takes on a completely different character, becoming open and transparent without losing any of that delicious comfort. Available as a 2.5-Seater and 3-Seater. Separate cushions are included.

It was when Michiel van der Kley became acquainted with the design of the 1920's — the likes of Bauhaus and Mackintosh — during his study of history that he decided to become a designer himself. He has been working for manufacturers at home and abroad since 1987, including Artifort. Van der Kley produces designs with a great eye for detail, from which he believes that the object derives its individuality.
