Design by Pierre Paulin, 1960.
World renowned designer Pierre Paulin helped build today's successes at the Dutch furniture company, Artifort. True to Paulin's ethos that a chair should be "friendly, fun and colorful" as well as functional, Artifort brings forth this iconic design and a permanent fixture from its collection, the Orange Slice High Chair — a chair that looks as fresh and playful today as it did in 1960.
Composed of two identical shells of pressed beech, covered with foam on a chrome metal tubular base, this chair, like its upturned seat, provokes a smile every time you look at it. The High Chair version of the Orange Slice design is also offered in a Low Chair version for an alternate level of lounging. Choose from several upholstery options; also available with a matching foot stool.
