Great design, fair execution

I've been looking for a contemporary sculpture for my brick fireplace wall for a long time and finally saw this. I decided on the orange Papa Buffalo. I was really disappointed when I opened the box and pulled it out. The welds are amateur: unfinished, uneven, no effort to make them clean and neat. I'm still keeping it because I love the idea - it is really very interesting and looks great from a distance. However, the price tag does not reflect the quality of this piece; make no mistake that you're paying for the design, and don't look closely.

Striking Piece looks great and throws neat shadows

I purchased the white Papa Buffalo to go on a blue wall. It looks awesome from every angle. My son took the opportunity to take a pic of it on his head before we put it up- it is that big. The washers (for mounting) are welded to the back kind of wonky so screws can't go flush into the wall. You really can't tell once it's up. Very satisfied with purchase.
