Boskke Recycled Sky Planter
Overview
Design by Patrick Morris.
By Boskke.
Defying gravity, this unique upside-down planter encourages abundant greenery at home and at work. Look up in any home, office or other indoor environment and the least used space will inevitably be the ceiling. What better place to grow an indoor garden without interrupting your day-to-day living.
Boskke Sky Planter's Slo-Flo internal irrigation system feeds water directly to the plant's roots, limiting evaporation and dripping. A locking disc secures the plant and soil so there's no mess. A float-stick indicates the water level and two fixed-length hanging wires are included with each planter.
Produced from 100% recycled plastic, the new Boskke Recycled Sky Planter is very slightly off-white with tiny flecks of colored plastic in the body. A unique and practical solution for the keen urban gardener with limited space. The rounded square shape is available in three sizes.
The Boskke Recycled Sky Planter is made from 100% recycled plastic and is available in three sizes.

I live in an NYC apartment where space is a luxury, so I bought 10 of these planters in medium and small for two of my larger windows. I planted two orchids, two spider plants and an assortment of vines. 4 months later and the plants couldn't be happier, the vines are long and filling the window and the orchids have since grown new spikes. Spider plants need to produce more energy as being a plant with a sturdier stem they will try to right themselves, but the effect is nice contrast amongst the vines. I did replace the plastic mesh that comes with it to hold in the soil with sheet moss, definitely an improvement worth making. Will be buying more as soon as I finish this review.
It is just what I am looking price to much.

I think it is a great product , but the cost is extremely high. Finding a way to make it more affordable by redsigning might lower cost.
I love these planters.

I had a few ceramic boskke planters but I wanted the larger but the walls of my apartment are plaster and don't hold heavy things well (no studs to drill into). The recycled planters solve this problem because they are so light-weight. Also I love the water gage, it makes taking care of my plants a no-brainer.
Beautiful, modern and practical!

We purchased 10 of the Sky Planters to hang orchids in our living room and herbs in the kitchen. The plants are just now taking off, but already they have made a beautiful addition to our apartment. We will certainly buy more in the future; just trying to figure out where else they can go.
