Cherner Ottoman
Overview
Design by Benjamin Cherner, 2010.
Made in the U.S.A by Cherner Chair Company.
The first ottoman was brought to Europe from Turkey sometime in the late 18th century. It was much larger than the ottomans of today and generally covered in pillows. The Cherner Ottoman has come a long way since its ornamental ancestors.
This Ottoman is made from a molded plywood shell, which imparts a visual agility. Select from face veneers such as Classic Walnut, Natural Walnut, Classic Ebony and Red Gum. If you want the Ottoman upholstered, select from three different types of upholstery: Divina 100% Wool, Vincenza (available in White, Black, Carmel or Orange) and Sabrina full grain leather (comes in White, Black, Carmel or Orange). Those who want to complement their Ottoman with a chair may choose from the Cherner Lounge Chair or the Cherner Lounge Chair with Arms.
