Design by Benjamin Cherner, 2003.
Made in the U.S.A. by The Cherner Chair Company.
The Cherner Oval Table was designed to pair beautifully with Cherner seating. Strong, yet lightweight, the oval top is made from 1⅛" cross-ply plywood with a profiled exposed edge and is complemented by graceful molded plywood legs.
Note: For the Classic Walnut finish, the plywood core is stained with a subtle walnut tint to create a uniform appearance. For the Natural Walnut finish, a clear finish emphasizes the contrast between the exposed plywood core and walnut face veneer.
The Cherner Chair Company is committed to minimizing the environmental impact of the manufacturing process in a number of ways, including using finishes that don't pollute the air. A completely water-based veneer finishing system is used on all Cherner products yielding greater color consistency and fewer VOCs. The Cherner Oval Table, as well as all Cherner products, is manufactured with attention to detail and hand assembled from woods collected from sustainably managed forests.
Standard delivery is to threshold only (no set up or debris removal). White Glove delivery includes date/time specific delivery and assembly in room of choice.
Material(s): Molded plywood, beech laminates, beech or walnut veneers

Dining Room Table
By: Justin G., Homeowner (Chicago, IL)
The original table could not be assembled due to an issue with one of the legs. Additionally, the table finish was much lighter than expected. Ordered a new table and will provide an updated review once we receive it.

The Cherner Chair Company was founded in 1999 by Benjamin Cherner and his brother Thomas, in response to countless requests from fellow architects to reissue their father's designs. Utilizing Norman Cherner's original drawings and specifications, the reissued designs are manufactured with the same attention to detail found in the original handmade classics featured in design collections worldwide. In addition to reissuing Norman Cherner designs, The Cherner Chair Company also features new designs by Benjamin Cherner.
The Cherner Chair Company is committed to minimizing the environmental impact of all their products. All components of Cherner Chair products are replaceable, insuring that the chairs, tables, and stools can be handed down generation to generation, never ending up in a landfill.
All Cherner products are manufactured with strict attention to detail and are hand assembled from woods collected from sustainably managed forests, with 100% recyclable steel and with 25% recycled content. Wood and steel components are finished with coatings that emit negligible volatile organic compounds (VOCs).View other products from Cherner
