Wires and unruly lamp cords tend to mess up even the most well-planned décor, but instead of the usual nest of winding cords, the Cord Lamp Mini stands surprisingly tall. The textile cord transforms itself into a steel tube and holds aloft an oversized globe bulb, complete with dimmer, turning the cursed flex into a simple eye-catcher.

Nearly perfect cord-lamp!

I have admired this lamp online for a couple years before deciding to pull the trigger. The packaging and presentation of the lamp is 10/10, you can tell the designer has put a lot of thought into the smallest detail. The lamps itself is a solid 8/10. The craftsmanship and design are spot on. The only gripe I have is with the cord after it leaves the 'base'; it is kinked and does not lay flat and natural looking. After it leaves the spiral base the cord takes a life of it's own and the result breaks the magical perception of a floating lamp. On the whole, I am glad I have made the purchase and in time, I hope the cord takes a more natural curve shape.
