Inspired by objects that possess individuality, something beyond mere functionality, Lina Nordqvist transformed the traditional Swedish stick-back chairs into something unexpected. Each of these four chairs features a slightly different yet complementary design on the back and on the spindles between the legs. Together they form a family around the table, each with their own personality. Available in black, white or natural beech.

Recipient of the Accent on Design Award in New York (August 2009), as well as Swedish Elle Decoration's Design Award (2010).

Designer: Lina Nordqvist

Lina Nordqvist has a background as a set designer in the Swedish film industry, as well as a recent degree from Beckmans College of Design, Stockholm. Her Family Chairs (a graduation project at Beckmans) have won numerous awards.
