Inspired by objects that possess individuality, something beyond mere functionality, Lina Nordqvist transformed the traditional Swedish stick-back chairs into something unexpected. Each of these four chairs features a slightly different yet complementary design on the back and on the spindles between the legs. Together they form a family around the table, each with their own personality. Sold in sets of 2: Chair 1+2 or Chair 3+4.

Recipient of the Accent on Design Award in New York (August 2009), as well as Swedish Elle Decoration's Design Award (2010).

Lina Nordqvist has a background as a set designer in the Swedish film industry, as well as a recent degree from Beckmans College of Design, Stockholm. Her Family Chairs (a graduation project at Beckmans) have won numerous awards.
