Design by Lena Bergström, 2011.
Made in Sweden by Design House Stockholm.

Using high-quality wool for the Uman Rug gives it a natural softness and resistance to dirt. The flat textile surface and leather edging of the Uman Rug makes it as comfortable to walk on as it is a joy to look at.

Uman is the Sami word for Umeå Ålv, the river that runs straight through northern Sweden. Lena's inspiration for the Uman Rug comes in part from the use of colors in the Sami culture, which she has blended to form her own palette. It can be said that the Uman Rug is a multicolored, minimalist, wool rag rug. Available in four sizes.
