Fort Standard is a design studio founded by Gregory Buntain and Ian Collings. Their furniture and home accessory items reflect their craft-based backgrounds and interest in taking an innovative approach to traditional methods of production. They see their work as a type of "form language" that is rooted in both simplicity and functionality. Buntain and Collings bring a "warm-contemporary" aesthetic to their designs. Much of what they produce is built in-house. It's gratifying to know that Fort Standard's products are fabricated with the loving hands of two designers who truly appreciate timeless materials.
