Fredrik Färg

Fredrik Färg was born in 1981 in Lysekil, Sweden and graduated from the HDK design college in Gothenburg, where he obtained his Master's degree in 2008. He rapidly gained a reputation for his 'slow fashion' chair Coat. He has since established himself as a designer and exhibition curator in the fields of art, fashion and design. His new passion for bringing unusual materials to life in the form of comfort and stability produced the Rock Chair. Fredrick brought the dying form of rocking chairs back with a modern composition. His striking designs have garnered him worldwide attention for a practice that is both whimsical and intelligent. He has received several awards and has exhibited internationally. Fredrik Färg is based in Stockholm.
