Trained as an architect and industrial designer, he has already been the recipient of several design awards. He was voted Best Young Designer for the Sinue chair, which was introduced in 1996. In 1997, he won a Product Design Achievement Award from the IIDA for the Scoop chair, as well as an honorable mention from the same organization for the Bla-Bla-Bla chair. Among his notable completed interiors is the Press Room for the 1998 World Cup in Paris, France.
