Prospero Rasulo

Prospero Rasulo attended the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan. He began his professional career as an artist and designer in 1980, when he began designing stage sets, created paintings and sculptures, and designed public and private spaces. It was in these years that he started a collaboration with the Alchimia practice and Alessandro Mendini on the "Redesign" and "Oggetto banale" experimental projects. From 1982, he began to present his own vision of design, alternating his work as a designer with that of promoter of cultural initiatives. In 1987, he founded the "Oxido" studio, a gallery of art, design and architecture projects, and Oxido also became the trademark for several collections of furniture and interior design items. As an industrial designer, Rasulo works with various companies including Arflex, Foscarini, B.R.F., WMF, Zanotta, Poltronova Antonio Lupi, Fiam Italia, Mandelli, Glas, Rosenthal and Fabbian, among others.
