Setsu & Shinobu Ito

Setsu and Shinobu Ito are both designers and architects. After Shinobu graduated from Tama Art University in Tokyo, and Setsu graduated from Tsukuba University, they moved to Milan where they have been between Milan and Tokyo as consultants for important companies such as Edra, e' De Padova, Cassina-ixc, Toyo kitchen & living, Guzzini, Nava, Sony CP Laboratories, Richard Ginori, Tiffany, Mitsubishi, TDK, Hitachi, Sharp and Canon. Their work has been published and exhibited through Europe and Japan and has received several awards. Some pieces are part of the permanent collection at the museum of Contemporary Art in Munich.

Shinobu works also as a graphic designer and is involved in marketing activities, a specialization she developed during the time spent at Sony Creative Products, Inc. Setsu is also a Visiting Lecturer in Milan at the Domus Academy and at the Istituto Europeo di Design, and in Tokyo at the Tama Art University.
