Architect and designer, Ilaria Marelli, founded the creative lab Ilaria Marelli Studio in 2004, specializing in product, exhibition and interior design. The studio also provides strategy and trend consultancy to fashion and design companies. Marelli has designed products and collections for Cappellini, Cassina, Zanotta, Fiam, Bosa Ceramica, E&Y, Invicta and Coin. She develops fashion and design exhibit projects (the Pitti Fashion Events, for example) and designs private interiors and showrooms, like the Aquagirl select shop in Tokyo. Marelli teaches industrial design at Milano Politecnico and collaborates with Poli.design on applied research projects. She was designated by the Italian Culture Ministry to be member of the first Italian Design Council, and is promoting the first Italian co-housing project.
