Compass-Q exhibits a serene quality with its smooth white silhouette and softened edges. It features a thick square table top with four point star pedestal base and café table sizing that is well suited to small spaces. The rotationally molded polyethylene frame includes a cement ballast to keep things sturdy and steady. Compass-Q is made of recyclable material and is suitable for indoor/outdoor use. Designer: Alberto Werner Arter
Alberto Werner Arter received his degree from the Venice University, Institute of Architecture in 1969. He has collaborated with the Laboratory of Arts and Costumes of Palazzo Grassi in Venice, developing his studies in the connection between architecture and photography. Afterwards he carried out for many years the position of professional architect and designer between Venice and Geneva. He contributed to numerous projects, including the office buildings and underground parking of Dupont-Nemour on the Geneva Lake. In 1971 he was selected at a competition of the Federal Government for project tasks. In 1975 he founded in Venice the work team ARTERCOM that is involved in the relationship between design and distribution. During this time he collaborated as a consultant and art-director of Department Store Companies. And in 1990 he founded Studio Arter & Citton with Fabrizio Citton promoting the creation of the Laboratory D.MOD for Design and Contemporary Art.View other products by Alberto Werner Arter

Fabrizio Citton received his degree from the Venice University, Institute of Architecture in 1990. Besides architecture, he devotes his time to interior design, visual selling and graphic design. In 1991 he was selected in the Competition "Design Management". In 1990 he founded Studio Arter & Citton with Alberto Arter for architecture and design. In 1992 he was selected to represent Venice at the national design review "Proforme". In the years that have followed, he has developed project methods and designs for medium and large distribution, and he has also become art-director for several companies in this field. In 1997 he became a founder of the Laboratory D.MOD for Design and Contemporary Art, and undertakes the responsibility for products, reviews and exhibitions.
