Orlandini & Radice's Phantom series is aglow in this luminary version of the flowing silhouette. The armchair surface mimics draped upholstery with would-be legs hidden behind surface folds that fall from the arms and seat to the floor. Phantom appears legless, almost as if it were floating.
This outdoor armchair is available with two lighting systems. The fluorescent model is provided with socket/cord set that operates with a standard electrical outlet and 20-watt fluorescent energy saving bulb (not included). An on/off switch controls illumination. Or, select and RGB LED version with energy saving rechargeable batteries. A remote control toggles the bulbs from red to green to blue to alter the color of illumination. Phantom's fluid shaping is achieved with the use of rotationally molded polyethylene - a recyclable material, suitable for outdoor use.

Designer: Orlandini & Radice
Designers Orlandini & Radice have their own personal and incisive style. The two graduated from the Polytechnic University of Milan, in industrial design and architecture, respectively and met at Luccio Orlandini's studio after several years at various design jobs. Andrea Radice is curious - a lover of sports and culture - and is always in search of new and interesting stimuli. Folco Orlandini is keen on Man, on his infinite potential and on life in every form and expression. He is stimulated by the metropolitan pulsating beat which triggers his passion for visual arts. Both defend true design, the one that creates emotions, the one that makes you stay up at night, the one that dirties your hands in the lab, the one that proves the test of time with a synthesis of function and aesthetics.
