Design by Niels van Eijk, 1997.
Each Cow Chair is naturally unique, consisting of nothing more than a single cowhide. The untreated cowhide is stretched around a form when soaking wet and then left for one week until it has dried into a solid form.
The Cow Chair is part of the Centraal Museum (Utrecht, The Netherlands), Museum Boijmans van Beuningen (Rotterdam, The Netherlands), Stedelijk Museum (Amsterdam, The Netehrlands), and San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (San Fransisco, USA) collections.
Dimensions: 17.3" L X 15" W X 28.3" H
