Arnout Visser finds his main inspiration in the world of logic. He reminds us of how things work by designing objects that are based in science, in physical or mechanical laws. The usage of glass, Arnout's favorite material, gives a clear insight in the working of, for example, liquids, but Arnout also works with other materials such as ceramics, plastics and metals. Designs by Arnout Visser can be found in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, Design Museum London, Kunsthal Rotterdam and Groninger Museum, amongst others.

Designer: Bas van Tol

A beautiful interior is a well-functioning space with its own story, a special place. Since 1998 spatial designer Bas van Tol has been concentrating on creating extraordinary interiors. After graduating in 1984 he initiated numerous different art projects and installations. Later, in the 1990s, he made designs for a large number of exhibitions and stands. For Bas van Tol, the essential factors in any design are the location (the context) and the people (the users). Whether it be an installation, an exhibition, a shop, a restaurant, an office or a showroom, it always involves a situation that calls for a place all its own.
