Enduring, timeless. Like Emeco's Classic Navy Chair - first introduced in 1944 - the 111 Navy® Chair is versatile and clever. Made from 111 recycled Coke bottles, the 111 Navy Chair® is the result of a collaboration between Coca Cola and Emeco. Designed to keep thousands of Coke bottles from entering landfills, the 111 Navy® Chair combines ingenuity and environmental awareness with classic design. Available in six colors.
Please note Red, Snow White, and Flint Gray are outdoor-friendly. Charcoal, Persimmon, and Grass Green are not recommended for outdoors.
Notes:
Emeco furniture is hand welded and hand brushed for a warm, uniform finish. Weld lines are natural and always visible, and can range from very light to slightly darker than the adjoining aluminum surface. All Emeco furniture will exhibit slight variations of handcraft.

Emeco has an interesting history beginning in 1944 with the 1006 Navy chair, the granddaddy of Emeco that was designed to withstand the harsh environment on a Navy ship. (Legend has it, the seat of the Emeco 1006 Navy Chair was modeled after the seat of actress Betty Grable.) Since then Emeco has had some new editions, designed by some good friends: Philippe Starck, Frank Gehry and Ettore Sottsass to name a few.
