We got this for our old dog, who would not go on it at all. In fact, she was very intimidated by the fact that it was noisy, slippery, and not very stable. We thought that we'd blown a lot of cash for naught. She passed away about six months after we purchased it and now we've got a new puppy. He, unlike her, LOVES it. I can't say he lies on it or sleeps on it (in fact, I've never seen him sleep on it at all), but he has the most fun playing on it. He launches himself into it at high speed, uses it as a platform to pounce from, rolls around with his other toys on it, slides down it, burrows into and under it. It's non-stop fun for him. He likes it enough so that I'd consider getting another when this one dies (he's working on taking it apart at the corners). As a dog toy (especially for puppies who can get used to it early) it's a smash success. As a dog bed, it's a flop: no support, doesn't lie flat, and doesn't seem too comfortable.

The orange dog lounge bed looks great in our house but not so sure it's comfortable for the dogs to sleep on for long lengths of time. Haven't removed any of the beans from inside the bed yet. Hopefully when we do that, the dogs will find it more comfortable. Also, do not believe it's as easy to clean as was advertised, especially for the dirt that the dogs track onto it.

I have a game room for my kids that has 4 Fatboy large chairs in it. We thought it might be fun to add one for the dog. While it looks teriffic, my dog will no way go on it! It's slippery for starters. The filling is hard and doesn't really spread out properly for a dog to lay down on. In fact, he can't really even get on it without falling or jumping away. I have a large dog who would be a perfect size for this bag too. Anyway, I'm thinking of tryong to replace the inner beans with a regular bed, (like from llbean) and see how that works. I do hope he lies it b/c as I said it does look great.
