Hammocks are a vacation in themselves. Lose yourself in a good book or a great snooze with Fatboy® headdemock. And with clean styling and a palette of colors to choose from, you won't mind at all keeping this one indoors. This deluxe version includes a freestanding frame for indoor/outdoor use.
You can sit on it, lay and relax or just lounge on it! Jukka Setälä from Finland designed the Fatboy® in 1998 as the beanbag from the 21st century. A Fatboy® deserves a place in every living and bedroom. Suitable for indoor/outdoor use. Serves a multitude of uses. A must for those beautiful, lazy Sunday afternoons...

Love my Fatboy! A breeze to assemble (I am small and not so strong and did it by myself, easily). Very comfy - looks great in the back yard. Sturdy and cleans well. LOVE the carrying cases, should I desire to transport it. My only suggestion is I wish the rings connecting the hammock to the frame had been made so that I could flip the hammock over more easily, rather than unhooking it, etc... I should have picked a more "peaceful" color - but the orange was too awesome to pass up. Anxiously looking forward to next Sunday for another afternoon nap in my hammock underneath my banana plant... I"m just afraid the neighbor's cat is going to beat me to it.

Jukka Setälä has brought back the bean bag chair. As a Finnish interior architect with a degree from the University of Art and Design Helsinki, Setälä's most famous design is the Fatboy® Original bean bag. Setälä came up with his initial design for the bean bag chair in 1998, but it was launched by Fatboy® in 2002. For those who don't take the bean bag chair seriously, Setälä has taken a luxurious approach when updating this 1970's classic. His bean bags are upholstered with stylish fabrics and offered in a wide variety of colors. Some of his bean bags are large enough to use a guest bed.
Setälä has participated in a number of exhibitions and received such awards as the Excellent Swedish Design Award for his Spring lamp and the Best New Furniture in Europe 2006. Jukka Setälä has been teaching furniture design at the University of Art and Design Helsinki since 1999.
